Clear tonight with above average temperatures tomorrow
What We’re Tracking
- Warm afternoons
- Nice cooldown early next week
- Continuing to stay dry
Temperatures will dip into the low 50s for tonight. Winds are going to stay light and from the south. A clear sky for tonight. Temperatures for tomorrow will be trending above average with highs in the upper 80s by early afternoon. Winds remaining light and from the southeast.
Hurricane Milton is expected to make landfall tonight on the west central cost of Florida. However, we will not see any affects from the hurricane making landfall in our area. A clear sky and dry air continues for Northeast Kansas this week.
These warm temperatures continue over the next couple of days and into the beginning of the weekend. Highs will hang out in the upper 80s. We are tracking a nice cold front that will knock highs down into the 60s next week.
This cold front, a dry one, does not bring any rain chances with it. Our dry spell does continue over the next 7 days, at least. Unfortunately, not looking good for current drought conditions across our area.
