Four Stars Light Up the BOSS FW24 Eyewear Collection
“It’s for life.” That’s the motto of the BOSS Fall/Winter 2024 eyewear collection — and if it looks this good, we’re happy to commit. Fashionable lenses and frames sparkle under the starlight of four campaign ambassadors: British model Naomi Campbell, South Korean actor Lee Jong-suk, Italian tennis champ Matteo Berrettini, and Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy.
Since its inception, BOSS has consistently gathered talent across the globe; high-profile partners include Australian actor Chris Hemsworth and Colombian performer Maluma. This January, BOSS even lit up the London sky with a massive, ten-metre hologram of Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen. Collaborators remain central in the Fall/Winter eyewear collection; each partner models a key part of the marque’s collection.
Flaunting stylish shades and frames, the BOSS ambassadors demonstrate a ‘self-determined life’ through personal style. The campaign positions accessories as a form of self-expression, doubling down on the ‘Be Your Own Boss’ slogan launched earlier this year. For a line of optical accessories, that individuality is crucial. Given their everyday utility, frames are almost an extension of self — if they’re going on your face, they should feel like you. Accordingly, BOSS provides plenty of personalization. Customizable options include polarized clip-on lenses, offering versatile, double-layer combinations for clients to style.
Cutting-edge production methods lend a unique feel to each pair. Chic optical frames come courtesy of eco-friendly techniques. The Signature Bold frames, for instance, are made from Acetate Renew — a sustainable material spun from recycled and bio-based substances. Meanwhile, BOSS lenses are fashioned from either bio-based nylon or TritanTM Renew (a shiny plastic made with recycled materials).
In fact, the Fall/Winter campaign mirrors BOSS’ own journey. After Hugo Boss split into ‘Hugo’ and ‘BOSS,’ the latter label developed a slew of styles, featuring signature motifs to further distinguish the marque. These stripes — often in beige, black, white, and brown — are synonymous with BOSS’ distinct brand of upmarket apparel. In the Fall/Winter eyewear collection, each style sports the classic BOSS stripes alongside a signature metal detail.
