N.W.T. mines prepare for Mineral Resources Act changes

The upcoming Mineral Resources Act Regulations could change how mining companies work with Indigenous groups, and that has some worried. The act, passed in 2019, will govern mining and exploration in the Northwest Territories. A GNWT official says an initial draft is expected to be released by the end of 2024.
