Casting 'The Devil Wears Prada' - Anne Hathaway Wasn't the First Choice to Play Andy (a Big Star Who Turned the Role Down 3 Times)

The Devil Wears Prada is without a doubt one of Anne Hathaway‘s most beloved movies, which makes it shocking to learn that she almost wasn’t cast as Andy Sachs!

In fact, while on RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2021, the actress said that she was the ninth choice to play the aspiring journalist who finds herself thrust into the fashion world alongside Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt.
