England Youngster broke Virender Sehwag’s 20-Year Record in Multan: Maiden triple Century against Pakistan

Harry Brook solidified his name in the history of cricket on the fourth Day of the opening Test against Pakistan, as he made his maiden triple century in a dominative style.
His outstanding 300 came in just 310 balls, which included 28 fours and 3 sixes. Brook was eventually dismissed for 317 in 322 balls.

Brook crossed 20-year-old record in Multan pitch, set by Virender Sehwag, of hitting 309 individual runs. This was the highest individual score, along with being the only triple century being scored at this venue till Thursday.

This inning by Brook was the newest chapter to what seems to be an already overwhelming start to his Test career. As he had already scored three Test centuries against Pakistan during the historic England’s 3-0 series win, Brook has not claimed himself as one of the biggest young talent in English cricket.

Brook stepped on the pitch on Day 3 of the Test, as England easily posted 249/3 by the 50th over. Along with Joe Root, Brook mad an incredible partnership of 454 runs before the fourth wicket.
