Karnataka govt decides to constitute SIT to take action on report on COVID-19 'scam'

The Karnataka government will form an SIT and a Cabinet sub-committee to probe COVID-19 equipment purchase irregularities during BJP's tenure. Recovery of Rs 500 crore has been recommended. The Cabinet also approved an extension for an existing SIT investigating illegal mining and sanctioned budgets for construction projects in Bengaluru and Chikkaballapura.
