- Croke Park becomes the fifty fourth different venue for a United Rugby Championship fixture.
- Leinster have played two previous matches at Croke Park, both semi-finals in the Champions Cup, beating Munster there in 2009 and Northampton in May 2024.
- The two sides have met on 170 previous occasions, since the first in 1877, with Leinster winning 109, Munster winning 50 and 11 draws.
- Leinster’s last defeat to Munster was by a solitary point at the Aviva in the 2023 URC semi-final.
