'I just end the speech': Trump explains how he handles people 'fleeing' his rallies early
Former President Donald Trump admitted Thursday that he had ended some speeches early because people decided to leave his rallies.
During a speech to the Detroit Economic Club, Trump said he waited until the end of his remarks to announce news of a plan to allow tax deductions on auto loan interest.
"I haven't noticed anybody leaving," he explained. "There was one gentleman over there, but he came back. He went to the bathroom."
"Nobody's fleeing. Nobody's leaving," the former president continued. "I always watch, if they start to leave I just end the speech. 'Thank you very much. Ladies and gentlemen, we're going to make America great again. Enjoy yourself.'"
Trump blamed faulty teleprompters for instances when crowds left early previously.

"I lose teleprompters probably 5%, 10% of the time," he said. "Sometimes, I'll be in front of 50,000 people. I'll lose a teleprompter. You got to wing it. You got it. You know what you have to do."
