Dundalk FC Support World Mental Health Day
Today, Thursday 10th October, is World Mental Health Day.
Dundalk FC proudly support Head In The Game & See Change.
Talking saves lives. Whether it’s checking in with a friend, family member or colleague, your voice can be someone’s lifeline.
- Start a conversation about Mental Health.
- Phone a friend, family member or colleague, invite them to meet up for coffee & ask them how they are.
- Look after your own Mental Health.
- Remember, we all get down at times and it’s OK not to feel OK… But talk to someone and share your worries, fears, grief, regret.
- TODAY, SMILE AT A STRANGER, COMPLEMENT SOMEONE OR JUST GIVE SOMEONE A HUG AND SAY I CARE ABOUT YOU AND I AM HERE FOR YOU.
The Lilywhites wore Head In The Game armbands in last week’s SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division match with Galway United, as a mark of respect to Mark ‘Maxi’ Kavanagh and to raise awareness of Mental Health.
Mental Health Services and Supports are available; check out Mental Health Ireland, Head In The Game and See Change.
