Supplies donated to help horses hurt by Helene

CHESHIRE, Mass. (NEWS10) -- A retired nurse from Berkshire County is collecting supplies for horses ravaged by Hurricane Helene. Since NEWS10 aired a report on her efforts, Kathy 'Skippy' Hynes has received 480 lbs. of supplies.

The supplies were dropped off at Adams Town Hall. Some of the supplies include food for the horses.

Hynes said a plane left Berkshire County and landed in North Carolina Thursday evening.
