FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Good Thursday Evening,
It has been a crisp day today, with mainly sunny skies, and highs in the mid to upper 60s. Tonight, a frost advisory is in effect for most of our area, with temps falling to the mid to upper 30s in much of the area, with temps near 40 in the city. Friday will be a beautiful day with sunny skies, and highs in the low to mid 70s.
Weather will be nearly perfect for week 8 of FFN, with temps in the upper 60s a kickoff and dropping to the upper 50s by the tail end of the game. Expect mostly sunny skies again, and a beautiful day on Saturday with highs in the upper 70s. Saturday night, a weak frontal boundary will drop down into our area, and could bring some overnight rain showers, few rumbles of thunder with temps falling into the upper 50s.
The front will lift north on Sunday morning, and will allow warm and windy weather ahead of the real strong cold front that will come in late day Sunday into Monday. This could bring a few more showers with it. Expect temps in the mid 70s on Sunday.
Monday we will be on the backside of the front, and the low associated with it, which should pivot clouds and chilly air into our area. Temps will struggle to the upper 50s on Monday. Expect clearing skies for Tuesday and Wednesday, with colder mornings, with frost expected, and afternoon highs in the middle 50s Tuesday, and closer to 60 on Wednesday.
Things will moderate late week, with highs in the middle 60s with plenty of sunshine.
