Opening up to Olivia Atwood about her fitness journey on the former Love Island star’s podcast, So Wrong, It’s Right, Chloe, 37, revealed that she only got into fitness because she “fancied a boy”.

However, she admitted that as soon as the boy taught her how to weight lift she “fell in love with it”.

Chloe, who used to share her passion for fitness with ex-husband rugby player James Haskell also opened up to Olivia about the painful split, revealing that she remembers the “heart-breaking” moment that the couple decided to call it quits, after 11 years.

She recalled: “I swear to god, I remember the day, the time, the temperature, the outfits, where we were, everything – I just remember saying ‘I don’t think that we should do this anymore’, but really meaning it.”

Since the couple separated, Chloe has thrown her energy into her personal training business, and raising her daughter Bodhi, one.

Here, Fabulous takes a look at the star’s secrets to staying in shape.

Training Five Days A Week

Despite being a busy mum, Chloe still finds the time to train five times a week, from Monday to Friday.

She drops Bodhi off at the nanny, and then works out at the gym for an hour, before working on her personal training business before she has to pick her daughter up.

Chloe is obsessed with weight lifting, and said that this is the best way to get a “toned” physique.

She added that weight lifting is the best thing for women to do for anti-ageing and the menopause.

“I’m a massive champion of it”, she said.

Strict Diet

Alongside her intense exercise routine, Chloe also makes sure to stick to a strict diet.

On a typical day, she makes a big vegetable omelette for breakfast, a chicken and avocado salad for lunch and a chilli with cauliflower rice for dinner.

Chloe Madeley and James Haskell Split Timeline

CHLOE Madeley and James Haskell co-parent their daughter following their split, but what are the details?

In between meals, she snacks on healthy treats such as nuts and dark chocolate.

However, due to the amount of exercise she does, Chloe needs carbohydrates to refuel her muscles so she has one or two days a week where she replaces all her fats with carbohydrates.

Still Allowing Herself Cake And Pizza

Despite sticking to a strict diet most of the time, Chloe revealed that she still allows herself cheat days.

She said that a healthy lifestyle isn’t something that you can dip in and out of, but added that having a little treat here and there won’t change anything.

“There are going to birthdays, weddings, BBQs and work dos and you are entitled to have a few drinks, a slice of cake, a pepperoni pizza or an Easter egg every now and then”, she told The Mail.

“If you are healthy as a yogi all day every day, then a cheeseburger with your kids is not going to undo anything.”
