Oklahoma County DA to review Cleveland County K-9 death investigation
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has completed their investigation into the death of Cleveland County Sheriff's K-9 Dolar, and have handed their findings off to the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office.
News 4 first reported on K-9 Dolar's death back in September when the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office announced his unexpected death during a training session.
Shortly after the news of Dolar's death, Cleveland County Sheriff Chris Amason requested an investigation from OSBI.
When asked why the Oklahoma County DA would review the investigation instead of the Cleveland County DA, OSBI said it's because Dolar's death occurred in Oklahoma County's jurisdiction.
No other information is available regarding possible charges or who may be charged as result of the investigation.
