Bag that claimed 'Definitely not a bag full of drugs' was full of drugs, Portland police say
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Police got an ironic surprise after stopping two people driving a stolen vehicle in Southeast Portland Tuesday night.
Officers originally stopped the driver and passenger near Southeast Division and 162nd.
They then searched the car, reportedly finding cash, a loaded firearm, scales and a bag which had “Definitely not a bag full of drugs” printed on it, which was first reported by The Oregonian/OregonLive.
Police confirmed in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the bag did have drugs inside.
As a result, both the driver and passenger were taken into custody with multiple charges pending, police said.
No further information has been released at this time.
