Brutal hammer attack leaves man, woman injured in the Bronx: NYPD
BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man and woman were brutally attacked with a hammer in the Bronx on Aug. 17, according to the NYPD.
It happened inside a building on 3rd Avenue around 9 p.m. Six people are accused of approaching the victims before hitting the man in the arm with the hammer and punching him in the face, police said.
The woman was then hit in the face with the hammer, punched and had property stolen from her, according to authorities.
The group is accused of fleeing the scene to parts unknown. The woman was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln.
The suspects are described as women, according to authorities.
