Bastrop Museum to mark Indigenous Peoples' Day with celebration
AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Saturday, the Bastrop Museum and Visitor Center will host a day of events to mark Indigenous Peoples' Day.
The museum announced it was fully reopened Friday after being closed for renovations.
The celebration will center on the native people and tribes in Central Texas, according to organizers.
The event, which runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., will feature cultural demonstrations, musical performances, storytelling and more.
