I’ve looked through a gargantuan number of Amazon items this week, so I was happy to spend the end of the week finding sales elsewhere. A few times per year, Nordstrom offers an extra 25 percent off clearance, and this weekend is one of those rare times. The clothing section has variable size availability, so I mostly kept to the beauty and home sections. Anthropologie also has a lot of great home décor on sale for up to 30 percent off. I spied plenty of cute Halloween stuff in the mix, all of which should arrive well before the holiday.
The weather has finally started to cool off enough in Texas (at least for the first few hours of the day) that I can finally join everyone in buying sweaters and jeans. I started at my old reliables, Madewell and J.Crew, to see they had any good sales, and of course they do. Madewell’s offering an extra 40 percent off sale items, and at J.Crew, everything is 40 percent off and sale items are an extra 60 percent off. I pulled my favorites from each, then threw in several other finds from Barefoot Dreams, Carel, and more.
