Cyprus seeks temporary housing for repatriated citizens
Cyprus is seeking temporary accommodation for its citizens and their families being repatriated from the Middle East, as political instability in the region continues to escalate.
The tourism deputy ministry has announced a tender for the provision of temporary accommodation services for Cypriot citizens and their families who will be repatriated due to the unstable political situation in the Middle East.
The tender, launched on Friday, seeks to secure full board accommodation, including three meals per day, in hotels, organised apartments, and tourist villages located in the Larnaca and Famagusta districts, within areas controlled by the Republic of Cyprus. The facilities will serve as temporary housing solutions until further arrangements are made for the returnees.
The tender documents are available on the Government Portal – gov.cy, on the website of the deputy ministry of tourism, and can be downloaded electronically free of charge.
The deadline for submitting offers is Tuesday, October 15, at 1pm.
