Shoppers have spotted Asda is selling giant dog teddies[/caption] They have Dachshund and Cockapoo options[/caption]One shopper shared how she had spotted Dachshund and Cockapoos in her local store and had walked away with two for her kids.
She urged people to “run” to their local stores to snap them up for themselves – and many people said they would be perfect for Christmas.
Hailing the dogs as “so cute”, he mum wrote: “Obsessed! Definitely have got the room for it but couldn’t resist.
“Near enough took up the whole back of the car.
“They’re new in today so imagine they’ll be in most stores soon.”
The stuffed toys cost £25 and appear to just be in stores and not online at this point.
The mum’s post has racked up over 41,000 likes, and people were quick to gush over the fluffy items.
One said: “Wonder whose Xmas list this will be on.”
Another added: “I NEED THE COCKAPOO.”
A third commented: “Drove straight to Asda thank you so much.”
Meanwhile one wrote: “MY SAUSAGE DOG NEEDS THE DACHSHUND ONE.”
Other people said they would hang back in case other breeds were brought out, with one woman desperate for a Labrador or Golden Retriever version.
It’s not the only toy causing a stir.
Christmas steal
Parents are rushing to Asda to snap up a “lovely” toy for kids that’s perfect for Christmas as its price has been slashed by 67 per cent.
The toy typically retails for £60 but one savvy shopper was lucky enough to bag the gift at the hugely discounted rate.
The buyer revealed on Facebook that it had been priced originally at £60 before it was cut in half to just £30.
According to the shopper, it was then reduced yet again to just £19.50 by the time they got their hands on it.

One user who tagged a friend said: “Keep an eye out for me.”
Another added: “That’s cheap!!”
A third said: “This is it!
“I’ll check Asda tomorrow when I go shopping.”
How Asda has upped it's game
By Fabulous’ Fashion Director Tracey Lea Sayer
Take a whizz round the aisles in Asda it is hard not to notice how good the George at Asda clothing range is at the minute.
Add into the mix their recent collaboration with fashion designer Roksanda, celebrating 40 years of London Fashion Week, which is full of the designer’s signature colour blocking dresses, oversized Borg fleeces and bold stripe co-ords, it is easy to see why the brand is on fire!
All proceeds from the range go to The British Fashion Council to help promote young designers, so a win win!
There also seems to be a return to quality in the clothing range.
‘Style Stories’ with fashion influencer Erica Davies is a capsule collection of Autumn must-haves which delivered not only on style, but on great pocket friendly prices starting from £7.
Gorgeous quilted jackets, slogan sweats and a chocolate faux sheepskin flying jacket are among my faves.
Plus, George at Asda has just been crowned with the Best Kidswear in our Fabulous Fashion awards voted for by the Fabulous readers.
Click to buy enables you to shop the whole range online or you can just have a browse while you do the weekly shop.
