Disney Announces 'Freakier Friday' & 'Lilo & Stitch' Release Dates for 2025

Disney has unveiled the official release dates for two of their highly anticipated movies – Freakier Friday and the live-action Lilo & Stitch!

Both movies are coming to theaters in 2025. On Friday (October 11), fans found out just how long they’ll need to wait for the nostalgia-inducing projects to arrive.

According to reporting by The Hollywood Reporter, Lilo & Stitch premieres on May 23, 2025. A few months later, Freakier Friday arrives on August 8, 2025.

The latter project is the sequel to Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis‘ 2003 Freaky Friday. While the plot is still shrouded in mystery, Lindsay did recently tease some details about what fans should expect.

The live-action Lilo & Stitch is a fresh take on the 2002 original. If you missed it, a star from the original version of the movie will appear in the new one!
