UToledo Health to resume elective surgeries as shortage of IV fluids eases throughout Ohio

UToledo Health, which encompasses the University of Toledo’s medical school, physician practices, and hospital, expects to resume most elective surgeries on Monday, following a saline solution shortage that alarmed hospitals around the country.
