GIRLS VISION FOR THE FUTURE: THRIVING BEYOND DISABILITY 

The General Manager of the Lagos State Office for Disability Affairs, Mrs. Adenike Oyetunde-Lawal, joined Raising Star Africa in celebrating this year’s International Day of the Girl Child, themed “Girls’ Vision for the Future: Thriving Beyond Disability.”

To commemorate the day, an inspiring session was held with students at State Junior Grammar School (Special), Itolo Street, off Eric Moore, Surulere, Lagos, on Friday, 11th October 2024.

During the event, the General Manager shared her personal experiences, motivating the young girls to believe in their potential and pursue their dreams. She showed them that they can rise above challenges and achieve anything they set their minds to.

The event served as a powerful reminder that every girl, regardless of her circumstances, can become the best version of herself.
