Dame Judi Dench left red-faced after her parrot turns the air blue with X-rated slurs

ACTING great Dame Judi Dench was left mortified when her foul-mouthed parrot insulted her carer.

The star, 89, said Sweetie the squawker called a nurse a “slag” during a home visit.

Oscar-winner Dame Judi said: “The parrot was given to me and didn’t speak for a long time.

“Then she suddenly said to Barbara, who comes in to me three times a week, ‘You’re a slag’.”

The embarrassment doesn’t end there either.

Bizarrely, it also hissed “Boris Johnson” at friends.

And Dame Judi said that when her grandson’s girlfriend mentioned she had thermal underwear on, the rude bird turned and said: “Slut.”

She added: “Honest to God, It’s true.

“I don’t know where she learned the timing.”

Judi previously revealed how she had tried – and failed – to teach the parrot to recite Shakespeare.
