I’m a nan & I’m dating a Turkish waiter… he’s only a teenager but I’m sexy so who cares

A GRANDMOTHER has revealed she is dating a Turkish toyboy who’s a teenager the same age as her 19-year-old daughter.

Rachel McIntyre, 35, met her man Seskan while on a sunny two-month holiday in Turkey this summer.

The teenager was working as a waiter at the hotel the 35-year-old nan was staying at and Rachel confessed she spotted him ”right away” due to his charming looks.

At first, after finding out that Seskan is under 20, the Scottish granny ”backed off”, since her daughter Beth is the same age and made her a grandmother at 24 after giving birth to baby Alaia in 2023.

Despite trying her best to resist the Turkish waiter, Rachel admitted that his ”persistent flirting” eventually won her over.

”We spent all of his free time together and gradually fell in love,” she shared their journey with the Mirror.

The blonde beauty – who previously confessed to being a swinger – said that she was also a bit hesitant since a Turkish waiter she dated in 2023 ”was clearly after a visa”.

”But Seskan is different – he’s kind, clever, gentle, funny, and a wonderful lover. He never asked me for money and usually pays when we go out,” she told the publication.

After the model flew back to the UK at the end of summer, the age-gap duo only strengthened their bong by video calling regularly.

In September, the 35-year-old returned to Turkey with her daughter Erika, 11, who she took out of school – which ”doesn’t get fined” in Scotland – to go on the holiday.

”It’s a controversial situation, but it’s made me happier than I could have ever imagined. I know there will be criticism for taking Erika out of school to visit my young lover, but I don’t care,” Rachel said.

According to the granny, the pair are already planning a romantic trip to Thailand in December.

Rachel, whose daughter Beth was initially quite sceptical about the couple due to the closeness in their age, told the young Romeo she doesn’t want to have any ore children.

As reported by the newspaper, the lovestruck waiter seems to agree on the decision too.

The mum-of-two believes their love ”will stand the test of time” – and reckons it helps that she looks younger than her years, since her and 19-year-old Beth often are mistaken for twins.

Rachel, who claims she regularly gets asked for ID when buying a drink, said last year: ”My daughter’s only just turned 18 [after the birth], and I was very shocked when I found out she was pregnant.

The world's oldest mothers

WHILE older women often turn to adoption or surrogacy to have children, there are some who have defied the odds to have their babies later in life. Here are some of the world's oldest mothers:

Erramatti Mangamma

The then 74-year-old took the record of the world’s oldest mother when she gave birth in India to twin daughters – also making her the oldest mother of twins.

She conceived via IVF, and gave birth via caesarean section on 5th September, 2019.

Daljinder Kaur

After having two years of IVF treatments, Daljinder gave birth to a baby boy – her first child – in 2016, at the age of 72.

Dr. Anurag Bishnoi, who gave Daljinder fertility treatments, was criticised by her peers for treating someone of her age.

Rajo Devi Lohan

Rajo was 70 when she gave birth to daughter Naveen in November 2008.

At the time, she was the oldest first-time mother in the world, and therefore hit headlines globally.

Omkari Panwar

It was the 27th June 2008 when Omkari gave birth to twins – siblings for her and husband Charan Singh Panwar’s two adult daughters.

Desperate to have a son, Omkari went through IVF treatment, which her husband had to mortgage his land, spend his life savings, take out a credit card loan and sell his buffalos to pay for.

Margaret Adenuga

Margaret was 68 when she had twins in April 2020, after three failed IVF attempts.

While she was told the risks of getting pregnant at her age, she proceeded anyway, and was able to carry her twins to full-term with no issues.

”But once it sunk in, I started getting excited. I knew that I was obviously going to support her as well.

”People don’t even believe I’m my daughter’s mum. They look at me in complete shock when I tell them. They’re like, “Wait, are you not sisters?” When I say I’m a granny too, it’s even more of a shock.”

The content creator said that the biggest upside of being a young nan is that she’s fit enough to do a lot of things her granddaughter.

Speaking about any criticism, Rachel said that although she so far hasn’t been judged, ”it will probably happen” – but she’s ”not bothered” about what trolls may have to say.

The Sun reported earlier how Rachel finally feels ”sexy and confident” after jetting off to Turkey for new pearly whites.
