CDPQ to buy Ashoka's BOT toll road assets for Rs 4,500 crore

Canadian pension fund CDPQ is poised to acquire five BOT toll road assets from Ashoka Concessions for ₹4,500 crore. The assets will be purchased through CDPQ's infrastructure trust, IHCT. The toll projects have a strong track record and generated ₹1,247 crore in collections last fiscal. Toll collections are expected to rise further this year.
