The German Salami Company was established in 1976 by Uwe Albrecht, a German Master Butcher, and was one of the first manufacturers of continental meats within Ireland. Uwe was a director of Dundalk FC in the 1980s and the company has supported the club since then.

The company has maintained a tradition of using prime quality pork and beef blended with the finest herbs and spices to produce a range of continental salamis, cooked and smoked sausages, and continental meats. An added advantage of the products is that they have a significantly lower fat and salt content when compared to competing products.

German Salami Company has established a reputation within the meat industry for high quality products and standards, which has been reinforced through the procurement of the B.R.C Global Standard Issue4: Grade A.
