Near record heat starts week, strong cold front coming late tomorrow
Acadiana is starting warmer this Monday morning with temperatures in the upper 60s along with a few areas of fog. Highs today will near record levels as we approach 90° in Lafayette under partly cloudy skies. The record high for this date was in 2017 when we reached 92°. Lows tonight should return to the 60s with more fog possible.
A strong cold front arrives in Acadiana late Tuesday. Temperatures mid to late the week will be in the 70s during the day with the 40s at night!
