New Delhi: Pakistan cricket captain Babar Azam, already under fire for his captaincy following consecutive home series losses to England and New Zealand, has now become embroiled in a fresh controversy. An undated video surfaced on social media, allegedly showing Babar engaging in inappropriate exchanges with the girlfriend of another Pakistani cricketer, which has further fueled discussions and criticism online.

The alleged scandal gained significant attention after Dr. Nimo Yadav tweeted a video in the early hours of Monday. In response, fans rushed to Babar Azam’s defense, labeling the incident as an attempt to defame the Pakistani cricketer. The video shared by Yadav appeared to have originated in Pakistan before he posted it on social media, igniting widespread discussions and reactions.

An Instagram account named eish.arajpoot.1, reportedly based in Pakistan, has also posted the same videos, and notably, it is seen following Babar Azam. This connection has added another layer to the unfolding controversy, drawing further attention to the situation.

“Babar Azam sexting with GF of another Pakistan cricketer and promising her that her bf won’t be out of the team if she keeps sexting with him is just ” Dr. Nimo Yadav Tweeted.

Shoaib Jatt, a Pakistani journalist known for his strong criticism of Babar Azam, has faced accusations from cricket fans suggesting he was involved in the leaking of controversial videos. Some supporters pointed out that the individual who initially shared the videos on social media was following Jatt. In response to these claims, the journalist took to Twitter to assert, “I have no connection with this scandal at all. I respect Babar Azam a lot, and I believe he is on the path to greatness. I only criticize him when he makes unsound decisions as a captain, and when he performs well, I praise him. I reiterate that I have nothing to do with this scandal and ask that I not be connected to it.”

This is not the first instance of controversy surrounding the Pakistani captain. Previously, a woman named Hamiza Mukhtar accused Babar Azam of sexual abuse, harassment, and blackmail. However, following an investigation, Mukhtar retracted all her allegations, admitting that she had made false claims.
