IIT Guwahati innovators develop customizable space-saving furniture for compact homes

A team at IIT Guwahati led by Prof. Supradip Das has designed a space-saving, multifunctional piece of furniture capable of transforming into eight different configurations. Developed using a 'Prototype-Driven Innovation' approach, this flat-packed, easily assemblable furniture aims to cater to the increasing demand for adaptable furniture in small urban and rural homes.
