Troopers continue to investigate 38-year-old disappearance out of Middleburgh
MIDDLEBURGH, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- State Police have announced that it is continuing its investigation into the disappearance of Erica Franolich out of Middleburgh. She has been missing for 38 years as of Sunday.
Franolich last spoke with her family in Michigan on October 13, 1986, according to the State Police. She was reported missing after her family couldn't get in contact with her.
Franolich is a white woman who was born on August 12, 1960. She is five foot four inches, 100 pounds, with brown eyes and a mole on her left knee.
Her alias was Erica Jane Poprafsky. Franolich was last seen near Main Street in Middleburg in blue denim overalls with a bulky shirt and she's believed to be the victim of foul play.
