A three-day All-India Farmers’ Fair and Agriculture Industry Exhibition is being organized at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Agricultural University in Meerut. The major attraction of this exhibition is a buffalo named ‘Anmol’ from Haryana’s Sirsa. This tank-like cattle will surely amaze you with its price, as it is costlier than 2 Rolls-Royce cars and 10 Mercedes. Not only that, an individual can easily buy 20 luxury houses in Noida, yet Anmol costs more than those houses. Visitors from various districts are flocking to see this amazing buffalo, and many are astonished by its hefty price tag.

The buffalo worth approx. 23 crore which means that if its owner sell it he could buy around 15 Mercedes-Benz cars priced at Rs 1.5 crore each or two Rolls-Royces costing Rs 12 crore each.

Anmol’s Unique Diet

Jagat Singh, the owner of Anmol, said that Anmol won several awards over its eight years of existence. Talking about its daily diet – a hearty fare consisting of 5 kg of milk, 4 kg of juicy pomegranates, 30 bananas, 20 protein-rich eggs, and a quarter kilogram of almonds along with gulkand and fodder. Anmol also has two baths daily and indulges in massages done with mustard and almond oil.

High Demand for Anmol’s Semen

The gigantic build of Anmol captivated the crowd. Singh said that the buffalo’s semen sells for Rs 4-5 lakh a month and a team from Sirsa regularly collects its semen and distributes it. Notably, Anmol belongs to Murrah breed which makes its semen rare. The buffalo’s owner spends Rs 60,000 per month on its diet and earns Rs 4-5 lakh in profit each month from the sale of semen.

In the fair, a duo of buffaloes named Lakshmi and Rani were amongst the hot attractions as they each produced 30 liters of milk daily. Not just them, Anmol too was a spectacle, alongside locally bred cows and bulls.

Crowds Gather to See Anmol

Hundreds of visitors from different places are visiting the fair to catch a glimpse of Anmol. Many took selfies with the prized buffalo, while others captured photos as cherished memories.

The event was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi and State Minister Baldev Aulakh.
