Young child dies at home with air ambulance scrambled as cops treating death as ‘unexplained’
AN INFANT has died at a house as cops launch an investigation into the “unexplained” death.
Cops responded to the tragedy at an address in Carmarthenshire, Wales at around 1.45pm on Friday, October 18.
Dyfed-Powys Police arrived after calls from the Wales Ambulance Service Trust concerning the welfare of an infant.
An air ambulance team were also sent to the scene.
A statement from the police force said: “Sadly, the infant died at the scene. Our thoughts are with the family.”
The young child’s death is being treated as “unexplained” at this time, confirmed the force.
