Motorcyclist dead after northeast Columbus crash

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A motorcyclist is dead after a crash on the northeast side of Columbus Sunday afternoon.

According to Columbus police dispatchers, the crash happened near the intersection of Stelzer Raod and Middlemore Drive at approximately 5:05 p.m.

The victim was pronounced dead at Grant Medical Center at 5:55 p.m., dispatchers said.

Details surrounding the crash have not been released, but the driver of the other vehicle involved did remain at the scene.
