Big third period lifts Red Wings past Predators

Andrew Copp scored twice, including the go-ahead goal early in the third period, as the visiting Detroit Red Wings topped winless Nashville 5-2 on Saturday afternoon.

Vladimir Tarasenko, Dylan Larkin and Simon Edvinsson also scored for the Red Wings, while Alex Lyon made 37 saves.

Steven Stamkos scored his first goal for Nashville after signing as a free agent during the offsea
