Daycare worker accused of dragging children, striking head of another NY child

SUFFOLK COUNTY (PIX11) – A former Long Island daycare worker dragged two 3-year-old kids in her care in East Patchogue Thursday, police said. 

Roshanne Marks, 33,  was arrested and charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to arrest records. 

Marks allegedly grabbed the arms and dragged two 3-year-old children. She also reportedly stuck the back of the head of another 3-year-old child at a daycare facility located at 655 Montauk Highway in East Patchogue, an investigation by the Suffolk County police uncovered. 

Marks, a resident of Bohemia, was taken into police custody.

Authorities said she will be arraigned at the first district court in Islip at a later date.
