Crystal Palace v Spurs Team News – Mikey Moore’s full Premier League debut
Ange Postecoglou has picked his Tottenham Hotspur side which will take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League this afternoon.
Crystal Palace v Tottenham takes place this afternoon
Tottenham make the short trip to South London to face a Palace side who have experienced a tough start to the new campaign.
Eagles boss Oliver Glasner appeared to have had Palace playing an attractive brand of football towards the end of last season, however, having only picked up just three points from eight Premier League matches so far, the German is under pressure.
The defeat at Brighton prior to the international break has seen something of a resurgence after Tottenham beat West Ham 4-1 and followed it up with a 1-0 victory against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
What is the Tottenham team vs Crystal Palace
As expected, Ange Postecoglou has made a raft of changes from midweek, in a game in which nine changes were made against AZ Alkmaar.
Club captain Heung-min Son remains sidelined having missed the fixture against the Dutch side, while Djed Spence also sits out the fixture through injury.
With the South Korean not able to play and Timo Werner having another disappointing outing, Mikey Moore was the player who caught the eye in the Europa League win leaving fans wondering if Postecoglou would hand him his first start today. And he does!
The match kicks off at 2:00 pm and the match will not be broadcast live in the United Kingdom.
Tottenham starting XI
Guglielmo Vicario; Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky Van de Ven, Destiny Udogie; Yves Bissouma, Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison; Brennan Johnson, Dominic Solanke, Mikey Moore.
