Adani's Ambuja Cements eyes expansion through acquisitions on path to 140 mn tonne capacity

Ambuja Cements, owned by the Adani group, aims to increase its production capacity to 140 million tonnes by 2027-28. The company, which is debt-free with a net worth of nearly Rs 60,000 crore, remains open to further acquisitions. Currently, its production capacity stands at 89 million tonnes, set to exceed 100 million tonnes by March 2025.
