MARRIED At First Sight’s strongest couple are on the brink after a shocking admission in the latest commitment ceremony.
Kieran Chapman and Kristina Goodsell’s relationship has been going from strength to strength since they met for the first time on their wedding day.
But as this exclusive sneak peek of tonight’s MAFS shows, it could all be set to come crashing down.
In a preview of the next commitment ceremony, Kieran leaves Kristina devastated as he admits to having big fears about their future.
In a devastating blow, he tells the experts that he is “scared” and “petrified” about “wasting time with the wrong person”.
In the clip, Kieran begins by clarifying his thoughts on Kristina’s diagnosis of Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
The 28-year-old mechanic says: “At the last commitment ceremony, I explained how the PMDD was affecting me.
“But I’ve since realised that there’s underlying areas where we’re not similar that are important to me.”
MAFS expert Mel Schilling asks: “What made you say that?”
Turning to his wife Kristina, he says: “I asked you the other day, didn’t I? What’s more important; finding a husband or pursuing something that you’re really passionate about?”
He then tells Mel: “She said finding a husband and I went, ‘This is why we’re very different’.”
Having her say, Kristina, 31, admits “Coming in here from day one, I wanted to build a new life wherever that took me.”
But looking wide-eyed at her comment, Kieran explains: “Which I guess I can feel the pressure of.
“For someone to be ready to leave where she’s from and almost move straight away, that’s scary. It’s just getting scary.
“I came into this wanting to find a wife who I can spend the rest of my life with. But I’m petrified.”
With a concerned look on her face, Mel asks: “What specifically are you petrified about?”
“Wasting time with the wrong person,” Kieran answers.
Until recently, Kieran and dog walker Kristina have been the strongest couple in this year’s series of Married At First Sight UK.
But just days ago, cracks started to show.

During a dinner party last week, Kieran left his wife in tears after he gave another bride – Polly Sellman – a peck on the lips.
The surprise smooch appeared to have been done in jest, with both Polly’s barber husband Adam Nightingale and Kieran laughing it off.
Kristina, however, was clearly blindsided by the kiss and confronted Kieran in front of the group.
She appeared to be shaking with anger as she accused him of disrespecting their relationship.
“Oh my god. Did you just kiss another wife on your lips? I should think not Kieran,” she blasted.
“Remember respect with your wife, please.
“You’re not even at that level with me let alone one of my best friends in here.”
Taking Kristina’s side, expert Paul C Brunson later told Kieran: “It’s because of Kristina feeling rejected that, of course, she is going to feel that in that moment.”
