FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Happy Thursday!

We start the day off on a dry note, and we'll remain that way until about mid-afternoon, but an approaching cold front will increase our winds, and bring us rain chances during trick-or-treating hours. From about mid-morning through this evening, expect sustained winds 10-25 MPH, with gusts 30-40 MPH. Then as we get from about mid-afternoon through tonight, that cold front brings us scattered rain.

The good news is, it won't be an all evening steady rain, but some of those scattered showers will be a bit heavy. As far as lightning goes, I do think that will be fairly isolated in nature. Still something to keep an eye on, as you don't want to be within 15-20 miles of lightning strikes. Keep an eye on the Storm Team 4 mobile weather app radar and you'll be able to watch for that.

We quickly clear up overnight into Friday, and we'll see more sunshine. Winds also die down, and temperatures fall back close to 60. That actually puts us right near-normal for November 1st.

Saturday will be warmer, with highs in the low to mid 60s, and lots of sunshine.

Then for Sunday, a warm front lifts through the Midwest, increasing temps, back into the upper 60s, but also bringing on-and-off rain chances from Sunday afternoon, through the start of the next workweek.
