The second year player is balling out throughout the first five games of the season.

Trayce Jackson-Davis has been getting the starting nod at center this year for the red-hot Golden State Warriors. In their 4-1 start to open the 2024-2025, TJD has been the man in the middle, starting all five games and averaging 19 points per game. The sophomore i averaging 9.6 points per game, 5 rebounds, nd 2.4 assists on 77% shooting from the field.

He’s doing an excellent job on the offensive end of deftly positioning himself around the rim, with 13 of his 22 field goal attempts this season coming directly at the rim. Not surprisingly, this long athletic hooper has converted 12 of those attempts.

Last night, he scored 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting in 20 minutes, while adding 9 rebounds and 1 block.

Last year, TJD was snubbed by the NBA’s All-Rookie team by one vote, finishing with 41 NBA All-Rookie second-team votes, one point right behind GG Jackson II of the Memphis Grizzlies.

If there was ever an NBA All-Sophomore team, TJD would be on a beeline to make it this season. His combination of bounce and height is making it tougher for Coach Steve Kerr to take him out of the game; this young man is taking very much after his father Dale Davis.
