PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — It doesn't matter if you're still feeling the Halloween spirit, or looking to move past spooky season — there's something to do regardless.

Here are seven of Portland's top happenings this weekend.

Trick-or-Treating and Halloween Party

When: Thursday, Oct. 31 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: McMenamins Kennedy School, 5736 NE 33rd Ave, Portland, OR 97211

All ages are invited to the Kennedy School’s Halloween celebration featuring trick-or-treating for the first two hours, and live music for the last two. Family-friendly musicians Tallulah's Daddy and The Alphabeticians are set to perform.

Night of the Zombie

When: Thursday, Oct. 31 from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Where: 4024 N Interstate Ave, Portland, OR 97227

The Alibi Tiki Lounge is hosting a costume contest, with prizes going to the top three winners. Karaoke is also an option for attendees who want to sing along to spooky songs.

Coco Live-To-Film Concert

When: Friday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
Where: Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, 1037 SW Broadway, Portland, OR 97205

Fans of Disney’s “Coco” will watch the fantasy film as Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México performs the song live. This event aptly falls on Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead.

World Vegan Month

When: Starting Friday, Nov. 1
Where: Multiple locations

Portland’s Veganizer is celebrating World Vegan Month by offering food specials from more than 30 businesses with plant-based dishes, including Blossoming Lotus Cafe and Kate’s Ice Cream. Proceeds from the specials will benefit local nonprofits.

WFTDA Global Roller Derby Championships

When: Friday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 3 at multiple times
Where: Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 300 N Ramsay Way, Portland, OR 97227

The Rose City Rollers, the world’s largest roller derby league, is hosting the sport’s global championship for the first time since the pandemic. The first night of the competition will conclude with an after-party at 10 Barrel Brewing.

Portland Book Festival

When: Saturday, Nov. 2
Where: Multiple locations

The city’s biggest literary event will take over six venues in the South Park Blocks on Saturday. General admission passes for the Portland Book Festival are $18 in advance or $25 at the door, but there is an additional cost for special events like author talks featuring Ani DiFranco and Richard Powers.

Quince Fest

When: Sunday, Nov. 3 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: 930 SE Oak St, Portland, OR 97214

Bauman’s Cider’s new taproom is hosting its inaugural Quince Fest, a festival centered on the hard-to-find quince fruit. Farmers, cider makers, bakers and more will serve the fruit in different forms.
