Coasters host Gateshead in Remembrance fixture

AFC Fylde will pay respects and host the annual armed forces and remembrance fixture when they play host to Gateshead at Mill Farm on November 9th.

The Coasters will be offering serving and ex-serving veterans and military personnel tickets for £5 anywhere in the ground, including for away supporters.*

*Please note, this offer will only be valid with proof of your HM Armed Forces Veteran Card on the day and is only available either over the phone (01772 598859), or to be purchased from the club shop in person.

All the annual arrangements will be on show with the Last Post being played before Kick Off, along with players bearing a poppy on their shirts during the game. Prior to kick off, ex servicemen past and present will also have an on-pitch parade.

Supporters are encouraged to arrive at the ground and to take their seats as early as possible ahead of these activities.

The fixture is in unison with AFC Fylde’s Community Foundation who are working with Weeton Barracks to celebrate the day and their work.

The matchday programme will also be used to commemorate the day, with a special interview inside with AFC Fylde Kit Manager and ex serviceman, Phil Newham.
