15-year-old killed in overnight Ville Platte shooting
VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) -- A teenager was shot and killed early Thursday morning in Ville Platte, authorities said.
Christopher Marquees, 31, is charged with one count of negligent homicide in the shooting.
Ville Platte Police said they responded to a call about a 15-year-old juvenile being shot at a home on N. Morein Street. The call was made by Marquees. When officers arrived and interviewed Marquees, he was arrested.
Marquees is being held on a bond of $75,000.
