NYC Marathon: Celebrities running in the race
NEW YORK (PIX11) – The 2024 TCS New York City Marathon has kicked off on Staten Island on Sunday, with thousands of runners taking over the Big Apple.
More than 50,000 runners are expected to participate in the race, according to New York Road Runners. That includes a few celebrities.
Nev Schulman, the producer and host of MTV's "Catfish," is taking part in his eighth NYC Marathon. He'll also act as a guide runner for a visually impaired athlete, his second time doing so, according to NYRR.
Randall Park, known for ABC's "Fresh Off the Boat" is also participating to support KultureCity, according to organizers. Matt James and Peter Weber from "The Bachelor," as well as Zac Clark and Joe Amabile from "The Bachelorette," are also running in the race.
Vinny Guadagnino of "Jersey Shore," actress Claire Holt, TV personalities T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, as well as YouTuber Casey Neistat, are also taking part in the marathon, organizers said.
