One critically injured in north Columbus hit-and-run
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- An adult has been hospitalized after being hit by a car early Sunday morning in a north Columbus hit-and-run.
Police said that just after 1:15 a.m., a pedestrian was crossing East 5th Avenue on the west side of the intersection at North 4th Street. The adult was hit by a gold 2016-17 Honda Accord that was going east on East 5th Ave. The driver fled the scene after the crash, per police.
The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Columbus police's accident investigation unit is looking for more information on the vehicle, which is believed to have damage on the front bumper and passenger side mirror.
