‘I’ve just ordered three!’ delighted shopper exclaims as Argos slash price of clothes airers to £6, but there’s a catch
IT’S one of the best ways to get your clothes dry without using the tumble dryer.
So it’s no surprise that shoppers are racing to Argos to pick up a clothes airer reduced to just £6 – with one chuffed woman even snapping up three.
The reductions are part of the store’s Black Friday deals[/caption]Dominique took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her finds, as she wrote: “If anyone’s after a cheap clothes airer Argos have these and a couple of others at half price-ish”.
She then posted a screenshot which showed the Argos Home 20m Indoor Clothes Airer reduced from £26 to £12, and a 12m version reduced from £12 to just £6 as part of the store’s Black Friday sale.
“Ohh mine’s just broken, thank you!” one person wrote in the comments section.
To which Dominique replied: “No problem!
“I’ve just ordered three because I always end up breaking them!”
“Wish I had seen this sooner!” another commented.
“Mine’s broken and I need a new one but all my local Argos are sold out.”
“This could be handy!” a third said.
While there were numerous shoppers raving about the 20m airer, with one writing: “Got the first one the last time time it was on offer, fantastic airer.”
“I got the 1st one last year it’s great!” another said.
But others were quick to admit they’d been left unimpressed after purchasing the 12 metre airer that’s now down to £6 – pointing out the catch with the cheap deal.
“It’s tiny anyway, can only fit my 6 year old’s clothes on it!” one wrote.
“The £6 is useless,” another agreed.
“I bought when on offer last time, 2 for £15, and both broke easily.”
“The second one is shocking not worth 50p let alone 6 quid lol!” a third insisted.
“We got the £6 one, honestly don’t waste your money.” someone else wrote.

“It’s getting returned – it is TINY!
“Probably ok for underwear that’s about it.”
“Don’t bother with the 12m 3 tier one, it’s absolutely rubbish,” another commented.
“Don’t waste your money on these – always break,” someone else warned.
As another said: “I got the Argos one and had to return it, it collapsed!”
More and more people are using airers to dry their clothes inside, rather than resorting to the tumble dryer[/caption]
