Sen. Fetterman swears his way through CNN interview bashing Trump's Pennsylvania lies

Always colorful Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) used a combination of obscenities and sarcasm on CNN Sunday to rip apart Donald Trump's conspiracy-mongering about the 2024 election.

Speaking from his home during his "State of the Union" appearance, Fetterman was asked about a Donald Trump social media post where he wrote, "We caught them CHEATING BIG in Pennsylvania. Must announce and PROSECUTE, NOW! This is a CRIMINAL VIOLATION OF THE LAW. STOP VOTER FRAUD! CHECK OUT KAMALA’S NEW SLEAZEBAG LAWYER. WE ARE ON THEM ALL THIS TIME! Who would have ever thought that our Country is so CORRUPT?"

Asked to address the accusation, Fetterman mocked cried as he sarcastically lamented, "Oh, no. It made me tingle," before adding, "It's the same sh-t that he played in 2020 and it didn't go anywhere."

Pressed by the host, he added, "I'm not worried about it. It's the same thing that he tried in 2020. You know, we had a secure election. And now –– there was voter fraud in Pennsylvania and it was handful of Republicans and they had their dead moms vote for Trump. I would like to remind everybody that they were all caught and prosecuted."

"It's the same sad story that he had in 2020 and I would like to remind everybody that Biden wrecked his ship by 80,000 votes and he will try to lie and claim these baseless things but now we're going to have a new team leading America and that's going to be {Kamala] Harris but it is going to be close," he explained to the host.

He was later asked about the former president's ads targeting his opponent over gender-affirming care for the transgender community.

"If your political capital comes from picking on trans kids or gay kids or thing like that, you are just bankrupt throughout all of this," he told host Bash. "My version of being a man is like I like rib eyes, I like Motörhead and I will never pick on trans kids and gay kids."

"It's just sad that the other side chooses the to pick on members of that community," he continued. "I've said this throughout my entire career that if you think that I have to turn our backs on their community then you can vote for somebody else. I am unwilling to ever do that. It's just a warped version of it doesn't make you tough,it doesn't make you man to pick on tr ans or gay kids –– it just makes you an a––hole."
