When and where does the NYC Marathon end?
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Over 50,000 runners pounded the pavement in the Big Apple on Sunday for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon.
Abdi Nageeye, of the Netherlands, won the men's race with a time of 2 hours, 7 minutes and 39 seconds. Sheila Chepkirui, from Kenya, won the women's race in 2 hours, 24 minutes and 35 seconds.
Participants end the race in Central Park. But when does the marathon officially end?
The cutoff time for the marathon is 10 p.m. It began at 8 a.m. on Staten Island, which is when the first wave of runners kicked off the race.
