NYC Marathon: How to track the runners
NEW YORK (PIX11) – If you're one of the two million spectators on the sidelines of the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, or are watching from home, you may be wondering how to track your favorite runner.
You're able to track runners through the TCS New York City Marathon App, available on the App Store and Google Play.
The app features coverage of the four professional divisions of the race along with commentary from experts, a spectator guide and live tracking of runners and course cameras to watch your favorite runner.
More than 50,000 runners are expected to participate in the marathon, according to New York Road Runners. Several celebrities are also joining in on the action.
