Tom Cruise Has Allegedly Been ‘Poking His Nose’ Into One of His Exes Latest Controversies

Lately, it seems like Tom Cruise has been crossing paths with his ex-wife, Nicole Kidman, in rather strange ways. Earlier this month, we got word that they may end up crossing paths for a sequel to one of their movies, and now, insiders claim Cruise is trying to butt into the odd clash between Kidman and Salma Hayek.

If you need a recap, back in Oct 2024, Hayek and Kidman sparked feud rumors at Balenciaga’s show during Paris Fashion Week. They were posing for photos, and when Hayek went to touch Kidman, Kidman seemingly reacted unhappily to the gesture.

Now, enter Cruise. Insiders alleged to InTouch Weekly that Cruise is “poking his nose in and bringing it up to his contacts.”

“[He’s] trying to get the inside dirt and guessing it’s his ex-wife who’s to blame,” they said, explaining why he’s doing so. “He’s playing a pretty dangerous game, because it’s obviously going to get back to Nicole, and everyone knows that anything Tom says about her, especially if it’s the least bit negative, triggers an avalanche from her.”

They added, “If he’s not careful, she will go on the attack, and at this point in her life, she’s not afraid to take the gloves off.”

Now, why is he so invested in this? While many would believe he wants to keep an eye on his ex, that’s allegedly not the case; it’s because of Hayek.

“He’s always been a huge fan of Salma and is still so grateful for the support she showed him after he broke up with Nicole,” the insider said. “His admiration for her is purely platonic. He really respects her talent and her work ethic and thinks she’s a class act, so of course he’s itching to find out what really went down between her and Nicole.”

For those who don’t know, Cruise and Kidman met and fell in love on the set of Days of Thunder back in 1989. After a year together, they tied the knot in a private ceremony on Christmas Eve in 1990 in Telluride, Colorado. In 1992, Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise adopted a daughter named Isabella Jane, and in 1995, they adopted a son named Connor.

But in 2001, Cruise filed for divorce from her, which was finalized quite quickly. Since then, they’ve avoided each other, but new reports show they may end up reuniting for a Days of Thunder sequel.
